Visitor Information Center
Volunteers staff the Visitor Information Center, located inside the Martin Luther King, Jr. Lobby when there are large groups in the facility. Our volunteers, also known as visitor ambassadors, provide information about the OCC, give directions and assist attendees with local area attractions. It’s always nice to see a smiling and helpful face when you enter our home!
Public art walking tour
The convention center houses a unique and diverse collection of art valued at well over $2 million dollars. Discover our not-so-hidden art treasures during your visit. Stop by the Visitor Information Desk for a copy of our self-guided art walking tour, or download one ahead of time.

We have elevators, restrooms, concessions and telephones designed to accommodate the needs of those with physical and non-physical impairments. First aid
The convention center has two fully equipped first aid rooms, one located in the Pre-Function A lobby and the other outside Exhibit Hall E. An emergency medical technician is on site during events with attendance over 1,000, or when otherwise deemed appropriate for the safety of attendees. EMTs may be contacted by picking up any house phone and dialing “0” or contacting any staff member. The building also has three defibrillator stations located in public spaces for immediate response to a medical emergency.
Lost and found
Sometimes you just forget where you set your phone, or you leave your coat on the back of a chair. Lost and found items are tagged, cataloged and stored for 30 days. After that, unclaimed items are donated. If you’ve lost something, call OCC Administration at 503-235-7575 or email ask@oregoncc.org. Please provide a detailed description of the item you lost. Also, if you happen to have a photo of your missing item, including it will help us to identify it too.
Storage of personal and other items
The convention center does not provide storage areas or lockers for any personal or event-related items to event attendees. You must check with your event's organizers to determine if they are providing storage for any items.

Portland Roasting
Baristas proudly brew Portland Roasting coffee at two locations: one across from the “B” meeting rooms and one located near the “D” meeting rooms. Hours are determined by the amount of activity in the building. In most cases, at least one location will be opened when there are 500 or more guests in the building.
