Every other Friday for the past year, pacificwild's assistant general manager Lindsay Pearson has made meal deliveries to residents in Portland’s Belmont neighborhood on behalf of Meals on Wheels People. She has also recruited a good number of pacificwild and OCC teammates to join her in this great cause!

Inspired by nature, $40M renovation gives the Oregon Convention Center a new look

When you step into the newly refreshed Oregon Convention Center, you might actually feel like you've stepped into the Oregon outdoors.

At least that's what the $40 million project — the first major revamp of the center since its first phase was built in 1990 — was shooting for in its design and inspiration.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Construction crews are nearing the final stages of a $40 million renovation project at the Oregon Convention Center.

Crews have been renovating the building's interior, as well as some exterior locations, for more than a year.

Much of the interior work was done with the Pacific Northwest's natural beauty in mind.

Oregon Convention Center receiving $40M makeover including new 3D ceiling

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - The Oregon Convention Center is getting a 40-million-dollar makeover.

The renovation includes new 3-D ceilings in the Oregon ballroom and its gathering areas.

The ceiling outside is designed to look like the cascade mountain range.

Inside, the ceiling in the ballroom is built from more than a thousand individually-layers pieces of wood.
