Event information

The Portland Marathon, is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most dynamic endurance races, offering a full marathon, half marathon, and 10K—all starting and finishing in Portland’s scenic Waterfront Park. Known for its flat, fast course and certified Boston-qualifying marathon, the event showcases the city with multiple bridge crossings, a downtown launch, and a route through some of Portland’s most iconic neighborhoods. Along the way, runners are cheered on by the famed Neighborhood Cheer Challenge and local entertainers. The pre-race Health and Lifestyle Expo, held the day before at the Oregon Convention Center, features course talks, vendors, and packet pickup. Post-race, runners enjoy free professional photos, Oregon-brewed beer, and a festive finish zone with music, food, and custom race swag. From sunrise along the Willamette River to the final sprint past the White Stag sign, the race delivers an authentic Portland running experience.
