Animals
We love our animal friends, but the convention center prohibits all animals on its campus. This includes therapy or anxiety pets. Only animals trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability, through a specific action, are allowed.
Alcohol consumption
We love our beer, wine and spirits in Portland, but we also want everyone to enjoy their visit in a safe and friendly atmosphere. An alcoholic beverage may only be consumed in the area where it was purchased. No outside alcohol is allowed onto the property (this includes all parking locations).
Balloons
We're sorry to spoil the fun. Due to our high ceilings and exposed rigging, no helium (or lighter-than-air) filled balloons are permitted in the facility.
Outside food and beverages
Portland’s reputation for food and beverages spans the globe. Please enjoy your delicious finds outside the facility. The OCC does not permit any outside food or beverages. All catering, concessions, food and beverage services are provided exclusively through our in-house partner, Levy.

Chairs and seating
Please leave all chairs, couches, and air mattresses at home. We have plenty of comfy seats inside the building.
Lost and found
Sometimes you just forget where you set your phone, or you leave your coat on the back of a chair. Lost and found items are tagged, cataloged and stored for 30 days. After that, unclaimed items are donated. If you’ve lost something, call OCC Administration at 503-235-7575 or email ask@oregoncc.org. Please provide a detailed description of the item you lost. Also, if you happen to have a photo of your missing item, including it will help us to identify it too.
Smoking
The OCC is a non-smoking facility. This includes e-cigarettes, vaporizers, and all smokable substances. Smoking is permitted outside the facility only in designated areas.
