This past Earth Day, the Oregon Convention Center participated in a worldwide Twitter conversation organized by Positive Impact called #CSRshareDay.
The conversation aimed to share event business sustainability best practices, offer participants an opportunity to collaborate with global suitability experts, and inspire others in the industry to take action within their own communities.
The OCC was a prominent sponsor of the event and also hosted an hour of live Q&A that touched on the center’s sustainability efforts, green event planning and corporate social responsibility. It was a massive success that reached an audience of over 1.2 million, and the OCC garnered more than 6,000 Twitter impressions during the hour.
